ISO Management System
ISO 45001 — Occupational Health & Safety Management
Independent third-party gap assessment against ISO 45001:2018.
Who this is for
Start with your business,
not more paperwork.
Construction, manufacturing, mining services, facilities and infrastructure operators that need a defensible occupational health and safety management system — for regulator compliance, principal-contractor prequalification, or group safety standards — and an independent view of conformity before certification.
What the engagement covers
Independent third-party verification and gap assessment against ISO 45001:2018. We audit your OH&S management system as an independent verifier, verify hazard identification, worker consultation and legal-compliance processes, and produce a gap assessment that guides your route to full certification. The gap assessment does not grant certification or guarantee a result; the accredited certification body conducts the certification audit and issues the certificate.
Use the official ISO 45001 publication to confirm the standard and amendments applicable to your assessment. Agree the criteria with your appointed certification body.

Questions, answered
About ISO 45001.
What evidence should we prepare for an ISO 45001 gap assessment?
Prepare your hazard and risk assessments, operational controls, worker consultation records, competence records, emergency arrangements, incident investigations and corrective actions. Include internal audit and management review records, and make relevant workers and process owners available to explain how controls operate. Agree the assessment scope before sharing detailed records.
How do you assess worker consultation?
The gap assessment verifies that your consultation processes meet ISO 45001 requirements and actually happen in daily operations — not just on paper — and reports the gaps.
Does ISO 45001 satisfy a customer’s prequalification requirements?
Check the customer’s tender or prequalification criteria for the required certificate scope, sites, accreditation and submission date. A gap assessment identifies conformity gaps; it is not a certificate and does not establish that a customer will accept your submission.
